Made in Japan in 1999, the YU3 is 131cm upright of the very highest quality, notable for an incredibly even tone throughout the entire register (bass, tenor and treble). Based on the flawless Yamaha U3 design but with superior materials (in particular the strings, hammer felt and garde of spruce wood in the soundboard) and hand finished, this piano is a prime example of the model and is a delightful and rewarding instrument to play at a professional level.
