We are still happy to entertain trade-ins even if the item you would like to trade is not mentioned above.
Please note: We do not take entry level instruments as trade-ins.
We accept trade-ins as payment towards a purchase, towards a lay-by, or even to add store credit to your account for use at a later date . Alternatively, if you prefer to outright sell your instrument or gear, we are happy to purchase it off you.
In the event the value of a trade-in is over the value of the newly purchased item(s), you can opt for the remaining value to be applied to your account as store credit, or transferred into your nominated bank account.
Please be mindful that DW Music is purchasing your item(s) for the purpose of re-sale and as a result is unable to pay private market pricing. We take into account various factors when providing an offer. These factors include, but are not limited to;
- the condition of the item(s)
- the labour and parts necessary to make your item(s) saleable
- the current market and demand of the item(s)
- the type of item(s)
Taking these factors and the like into account, DW Music may also decide to not accept a trade-in.
