A brilliant value for money professional sized piano, the Indonesian made U1J is a testament to Yamaha’s “Company of Origin” ethos, ensuring quality of product through strict manufacturing processes, even outside of their Japanese factory. The U1J comes very close to the performance of the Japanese U1, with identical action geometry and scale design.  There is of course a jump in quality moving to the Japanese product, achieved mainly through selection of higher grade materials, giving it a slightly more refined tone. However, for those on a tighter budget in need of a brand new piano, the U1J is the ideal choice.

On this page you will find a demo video of the U1J, specially recorded in our showroom, and some more information regarding the features and construction methods that make the Yamaha U series pianos so popular.
