This Yamaha C7X was built in Japan in 2015 and represents the current generation of Yamaha’s CX series of grand pianos, with specifications identical to a brand-new instrument. This beautiful example was originally sold by DW Music to a local Canberra institution and has recently been traded in as part of its ten-year piano rollover program.

The piano was used sparingly for performances, meaning its internal components remain in excellent condition with minimal evidence of wear. At 227cm in length, it offers an extraordinary dynamic range, complemented by a bright and powerful tonal character. This instrument is a fantastic reminder of why the Yamaha C7 has been the preferred choice for institutions for decades.

The piano case does exhibit some cosmetic wear as a result of being moved, primarily on the front corners and lid. Please refer to the photos provided. These marks are purely aesthetic; however, they do prevent us from achieving the piano’s full market value, which we estimate to be around $55,000.
