This sweet 1987 Roadstar II is in sensational condition for a guitar that is just about to clock 40 years of age. There are a few minor marks and impressions on the body, as pictured. There are play marks on the black pickguard. Otherwise, it is exceptionally clean!
The guitar comes freshly restrung and setup by our in-house techs. The guitar comes with the tremolo arm and genuine Ibanez hard case.
The RG440 is one of only a few RG models produced with a 22-fret neck. It is also remarkable as an RG model with a humbucker/ single/ single pickup configuration. It has the rounded-edge body style of the older Roadstar II body.
The RG440 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include pickguard-mounted Ibanez pickups with a humbucker at the bridge and single coils in the neck and middle positions and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.
