This exceptional Fender Custom Shop Dennis Galuszka Masterbuilt 1960's Stratocaster® Journeyman Relic® was personally selected by DW Music at a premium Fender Custom Shop event held for key dealers.
Its 2-piece select alder body is finished in lacquer and paired with chrome/nickel hardware, an American Vintage Strat bridge and vintage-style Fender® logo tuners. The Journeyman finish package gives the instrument a gently aged character, complemented by a 3-ply mint green pickguard and white control knobs.
The neck features flat sawn maple with a nitro lacquer finish, a 60s Oval “C” profile, 7.25" fingerboard radius, bone nut and 21 Narrow Tall 6105 frets. A 1-piece quartersawn maple fingerboard completes the traditional feel.
At the heart of the guitar is a set of Aurora Ybarra Hand-Wound Fat 50's pickups, paired with modern Strat® wiring for an unmistakably Fender-inspired playing experience. Of particular significance, these pickups are among a very limited number from the earliest sets hand-wound by Aurora Ybarra, daughter of legendary Fender pickup winder Abigail Ybarra.
