Bare Knuckle Custom 550K CTS potentiometers feature a logarithmic audio taper, smooth torque and +/- 10% tolerance and are specially made to their specifications by CTS.

The increased resistance over standard 500K pots opens out the upper frequency range and allows the full harmonic richness of Bare Knuckle's  hand wound coils to shine through, improving detail and clarity.

Available in 3 Taper options:

"A" 10% audio taper: fast roll-off from max volume, allows for quick swell techniques with a snappy response.

"BD" 20% audio taper: medium roll-off for a great balance between quick response and fine-tuning control.

"J" 30% audio taper: a smoother, more linear roll-off for greater fine-tuning control, particularly in the lower half of the range of the dial.

Bare Knuckle recommend these 550k pots for use in conjunction with their humbuckers and P90s, in both volume and tone positions.
