YUS1

Perhaps the best performing and most versatile 121cm upright piano in the world, the YUS1 takes the fundamentals of design found in the ever popular U1 model and elevates them to a new level of performance capability.

High Quality Spruce

Timbers for the all important soundboard of the YUS series pianos are selected from the top 10% of solid spruce wood available in Yamaha’s Kitami Mill.

Setup in Japan

In the Kakagawa factory in Japan, YUS series pianos are tuned, regulated and voiced approximately four times as much as the standard U series, ensuring each piano leaves the factory possessing the precise tonal qualities sought after by the Yamaha technicians.

High Grade Materials

Further to the above attention to detail, the YUS series pianos are also composed of a higher grade of materials (including Wurzen felt and Roslau strings)  all of which contribute to a richness and warmth of sound with a controlled brightness.

Action
