The Epiphone J-200™ Studio is part of the all-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars have been completely reimagined to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic guitars inspired by iconic Gibson designs. The J-200 Studio offers a blend of classic design and modern functionality and was designed to appeal equally to beginners and seasoned players alike. Based on the classic Gibson SJ-200, “The King of the Flat-Tops,” the J-200 Studio has a Super Jumbo body and a 25.5” scale length, just like the Gibson model that inspired it. The J-200 Studio delivers a warm, rich tone with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles. The J-200 Studio has a layered maple body with four-ply binding on the top, single-ply binding on the back, fretboard, and headstock, and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that will sound even better as it ages. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail neck-to-body joint and features a 1960s SlimTaper™ D profile that ensures comfortable playability. The neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard equipped with 20 standard frets and dressed up with pearloid graduated crown inlays. The other ends of the strings are routed over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored to the Moustache™ rosewood bridge with ivory bridge pins with black dots. The iconic Moustache bridge is dressed up with four pearloid inlays.

We also included other details that give the J-200 Studio even more vintage-style visual appeal, including a classic J-200 style tortoise shell-colored pickguard with the legendary two-color J-200 graphics, Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and a bound 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown proudly displayed in mother of pearl. The J-200 Studio comes with Fishman® electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and Fishman Presys™ VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that are quick and easy to access for the player while being nearly invisible to the audience. The Epiphone J-200 Studio has a gloss finish and is offered in two vintage-inspired colors—Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Both right and left-handed versions are available. A standard gig bag is also included.

A battery is not included. To power your pickup, you will need a 9-volt battery.
