Condition:

This guitar has seen some serious affection over its lifespan, and shows plenty of cosmetic wear and tear as such. However, the guitar has been effectively restored to a very high standard by expert local luthier Kenny McNally. Most notably of the work performed by Kenny on this guitar is a stainless steel refret, which has been executed masterfully, with all frets feeling smooth to the touch with no overhang or uneven sections. Additionally, he worked with the lacquer on the body to remove many of the blemishes that were previously stifling points to the guitar's aesthetic appeal. The finish looks and feels excellent, having dulled in colour over the years, and many of the blemishes (particularly on the back) now blending quite evenly, with just a few white splotches left behind. The guitar has some light impressions around the body, and plenty of pick scratches on the guard, but none that impact structural integrity or playability. The guitar has been set up beautifully, with a lowered saddle that makes the action a breeze to work with. It sounds wonderful as a played in Maton ought to, and comes with the original hard case.
