The latest addition to the Legacy Collection—our family of guitars inspired by classic Bob Taylor builds and key moments in Taylor history—is the Legacy 914ce, a Grand Auditorium that hearkens back to a popular member of our 900 Series. This model features the tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood and Engelmann spruce, which was the foundation of the 900 Series for many years and beloved by players for its combination of low-end warmth, treble-range sparkle and rich, blooming overtones.

As with other models in the collection, the Legacy 914ce features traditional X-bracing along with some modern performance-enhancing retouches that provide a seamless, exceptionally responsive playing experience, including our modern neck profile. Aesthetic details include green abalone top purfling and rosette, gold hardware, rosewood binding, a full-body gloss finish, and elegant Cindy inlays inspired by and named for Bob Taylor's wife. This model ships with built-in LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and a deluxe hardshell case.
