The Axis guitar is offered with a roasted, figured maple neck, 22 stainless steel frets, and available in very eye-catching finishes. The Axis retains the features that have made it a true classic, such as the ever-comfortable asymmetric neck shape, double-locking tremolo, and proprietary DiMarzio humbucking pickups. With a quilt maple top over a basswood body, this tonewood/pickup combination is a perfect recipe for hard-edge rock tones but also delivers a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels when needed.

Designed To Perfection
The Axis guitar features a perfectly balanced, single-cutaway body design that allows unparalleled access to all 22 stainless frets. The roasted maple neck with an asymmetric custom neck carve provides an ultra-comfortable playing experience.

Asymmetric Neck
The back profile thickness is off-center towards the bass side of the neck and thins out near the treble side of the neck, allowing for a more comfortable playing experience under the fingertips.

DiMarzio Pickups
Proprietary humbucking pickups are custom-designed for the Axis guitar

Finest Materials
Hand-selected body and neck woods are sustainably sourced from our network of hardwood suppliers worldwide. Basswood and maple tonewoods are individually chosen and matched for their beautiful appearance and rich tonal qualities.
