Condition:

This guitar was seriously mistreated at some point in its life. We stumbled across it for sale, and decided to pick it up with the intention of having it restored as best as we can. Local luthier Kenny McNally undertook the job for us, getting the guitar back to a playable and presentable state. The most notable wear on the guitar was a big chunk of finish/wood that was hanging on delicately near the bottom strap pin, which he has reglued and made seamless with the body once again. We have taken the strap pin out during the photographing of this guitar to best show the cleanliness of the job. Alongside that, he was able to buff many of the scratches from the finish, though some still remain, particularly around the bridge and pickups. There are some general playing marks and bumps around the body of the guitar, however they are minor by comparison and don't detract from the playability or overall aesthetic of the guitar. Functionally, it is fantastic, playing and sounding as good as a Prestige Ibanez ought to. The locking nut was not with the guitar when we purchased it, though we can likely source replacement lockers by request. As the bridge is a fixed system, the locking nut is thankfully not integral to the tuning stability on the guitar. Additionally, the original hard case is missing, however we can arrange purchase of an Ibanez case to suit the guitar at request. This guitar is perfect for the player who isn't afraid of some aesthetic defects, but wants a world class 8 string, manufactured during the Meshuggah boom of the early 2010s, that still holds strong in a market now flooded with competition.
