During Fender's extremely thorough quality control checks, this product has been identified as having a minor imperfection.
DEFECT: This bass has a slight paint contamination on the back. At some point in the finishing process, the bass has been exposed to some metallic fleck, for which there is a small amount on the back. This is only noticable in certain angle under bright lights and only on the back on the instrument. This is impossible to capture in photos. There is also come minor polishing scratches on the back, which would likely come out with some fine buffing with a guitar polish compound.

B-Stock refers to products that have had imperfections identified while going through quality control. Fortunately, the imperfections/defects are considered minor and the product usually is considered fully functional.

Fender B-Stock products retain the manufacturer's warranty, however this excludes the specific defect(s) disclosed in the listing.
