Condition:

This beautiful Altamira classical presents in great condition. There are two impressions on the soundboard, directly behind the bridge, which look too have been caused by restringing. We have also noticed that the fingerboard looks to have been over sanded on the bass side above the neck body join. As you look down the edge of the neck on the bass side, there is a slight 'dip' in the edge of the fingerboard. This dip isn't evident on the treble side. This over-sanding does not presents any issues with playability. All of the notes in this area play cleanly and clearly but we figured that it is worth mentioning. We have attempted to capture this 'dip' in the included photographs but it is near impossible to capture. This guitar comes complete with the original Altamira branded gig bag.

Altamira's N600 is ideal for advanced classical guitar students at secondary or tertiary level. This guitar has a solid top and all solid Indian rosewood back and sides, with a strong rich classical tone suitable for the stage. The top of the guitar is the vital component for generating sound, vibrating as each string is plucked. With solid top guitars, the more this soundboard vibrates, the more this single piece of wood adapts and ‘opens up’ which improves the quality of sound as the guitar ages.
