The body, fretboard, and headstock are all bound in Ziricote, a figured wood which pairs with Dana Bourgeois’ distinctive tri-color herringbone top border and delicate pearl inlays to create an air of understated elegance.

At the heart of the Touchstone Signature is its meticulously hand-voiced top, crafted with precision and care in the Lewiston, Maine workshop. Our dedication to quality ensures each note resonates with clarity, depth, and character—the hallmarks of the Bourgeois sound.

The magic of the Touchstone Series comes from Dana’s renown system of hand-voicing. Over the last 50 years he has refined this old-world technique and is now recognized worldwide as a foremost authority on guitar-top voicing.
