The guitar exhibits only light signs of wear, with a few minor impressions on the soundboard, mostly around the lower bout on the treble side with some light marks at the soundhole on the bass side. Besides these marks the guitar is incredbily tidy. When it was traded in there was some minor fret wear. We sent the guitar off to local luthier nlegend, Ken McNally, for a light fret dress and recrown. The guitar is set up with a set of Elixirs and both plays and sound fantastic. It comes complete with the original Taylor branded hard case.

Model: Taylor 454ce 12-String

Year: 2008

Serial Number: 20080228055

Series: 400 Series

Country of Origin: USA

Number of Strings: 12

Body Shape: Grand Auditorium

Cutaway: Venetian

Top Material: Solid Sitka Spruce

Back & Sides: Solid Ovangkol

Bracing: Taylor Standard II Forward-Shifted X-Bracing with Relief Rout

Body Finish: Gloss Top, Satin Back & Sides

Binding: White Fibre

Rosette: Wood Fibre

Neck Material: Tropical American Mahogany

Neck Joint: Taylor NT Neck

Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)

Truss Rod: Adjustable

Fingerboard Material: Ebony

Number of Frets: 20

Fingerboard Inlays: Large Pearl Dots

Nut Width: 1 7/8" (47.6 mm)

Nut: TUSQ

Headstock Overlay: Indian Rosewood

Tuning Machines: Taylor Chrome-Plated

Bridge: Ebony

Saddle: TUSQ

Electronics: Taylor Expression System (Original Generation)

Controls: Volume, Bass & Treble

Factory Strings: Elixir Light Gauge Nanoweb

Case: Taylor Hardshell Case
