Condition:

This guitar is very much a player-grade instrument, with plenty of wear and tear from years of gigging with the previous owner. The majority of the wear is cosmetic, with very little of it having any sway on the playability or functionality of the guitar. The headstock has plenty of scratches from times being restrung, along with some slight wear on the back from being leaned against a wall rather than being kept on a stand. The frets are in surprisingly great condition, with no real signs of divets yet to form. There is a section between the 10th-13th fret on the treble side where the fingerboard was not finished properly from the factory, and appears slightly darker than the rest of the board - it cannot be felt. Perhaps the most notable wear, as it is the only wear that potentially affects playability, are some light impressions along the back of the neck, particularly in the middle between the 1st-9th frets. These impressions are very very small, and appear to have been made by a combo of capos being used, and perhaps a thumb ring that was occasionally worn by the previous owner. They can be felt when playing, but are not a slowing or distracting factor. The body has plenty of wear and tear, in the form of polishing scratches, general playing marks, and a few small impressions. There are no chunks missing from the finish, or anywhere that the finish has worn down to reveal the body. The hardware is lightly tarnished, and could likely be buffed back to shiny with some care. Functionally, the guitar is perfect, operating perfectly and playing as well as a Custom Shop Gibson ought to. It comes with the original hard case, and certificate of authenticity.
