This 2003/2004 50th Anniversary Strat is super sweet. It has a beautiful Ash body and it really nice and resonant. It is in great condition with only a few minor marks. A few very light scratches on the face of the guitar as pictured. Both the pickguard and the back plate has gotten darker over time, which looks pretty cool. The back plate however has had the original factory sticker left on it for a long time and this has left a white circle on it. This can be fairly easily rectified by taking off the back plate and exposing it to sunlight for a few days. There is a tiny dent on the edge of the headstock. There is some minor fret wear but plenty of life left.
Built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of the iconic Stratocaster®, this model combined the DNA of the original with modern appointments such as a 2-point synchronized tremolo, staggered cast/sealed tuning machines, modern "C" shape neck profile and 9.5" radius, and three specially voiced Custom Shop 1954 Strat single-coil pickups. Includes a vintage-style tweed case with crushed gold interior and red embroidered commemorative anniversary patch sewn in the top of the lining of the case.
