Check out this cool Blue Sparkle Duesy! The guitar is in good shape but does have numerous noteworthy scratches. There is a scratch under the strings, between the two pickups. A scratch on the face of the guitar near the bottom edge on the treble side. There are numerous scratches on the back of the guitar, as pictured. There is a small ding on the bottom edge near the strap pin. A small chip on the bottom back edge. A light scrtach on ther face of the headstock. The frets have some wear but still lots of life left in them. This guitar comes with a non original case.
The Starplayer Special goes back to the origins of Duesenberg. A solidbody guitar with a contoured alder body, screwed neck, two pickups, 22 frets and a 648 mm scale.
This model combines several different concepts in one instrument. The top of the American alder body is slightly contoured, giving the instrument its very own ergonomics. The maple neck is fixed with 4 screws and has a fingerboard made of East Indian rosewood.
The humbuckers - a "GrandVintage" in neck-position and the fat sounding "CrunchBucker" in the bridge position - deliver a powerful sound. The multi-tone pot with center grid serves as a classic sound panel, but can also extend the sound spectrum by a few single coil-like nuances when it is fully turned on.
This mix of proven elements results in an instrument that can be used in many styles. The basis for this versatility is provided by the lively sound with distinctive attack, long sustain and a clarity that always thrills.
